  2.Do I need to do all the paper works by myself?
  • Acquiring some documents in Thailand can be difficult, especially when it comes to carry a dead body. Specific authorizations from local and international authorities require to be anticipated, to avoid any complication or to be in breach with the regulations.   • MSLI can arrange the ceremonial of your beliefs or religion including cremation. We can also arrange a casket, a coffin, or an urn.
 
  4.Can a foreign citizen be cremated/buried in Thailand?
  • A foreigner can be cremated in Thailand. Columbarium can be purchased in a temple or church.
 
  5.How long does it take to repatriate a deceased body to his home country?
  • MSLI will do for the fastest. The procedure will depend on parameters such as the circumstances of death, the destination, ect. In general, the overall process may take 2 to 3 weeks. 

  6.How can we make sure that the body is preserved intact during the process of repatriation? 
  • MSLI will organize with the Medical organizations the embalming of the body, as soon as the authorities will have allowed the process. The body will be also wrapped into a specific plastic sheet and transported into a coffin.
